The episode opens by showing the town of Beacon Hills as a Crescent moon.hangs overheard. The screen.shows a bedroom as Stiles Stilinski is sitting at his desk in the dark as the light from his laptop screen illuminates his face. Stiles' voice is heard but his mouth isn't moving but his fingers keep typing
Stiles: I can barely remember my life before all of this.....before I was in love....turned into a werewolf....and fighting for my life day by day. Only memory that plays in my mind over and over again is the night that defined who I am as a person. As much as I hate to admit it its almost as if it was meant to happen.....
Episode shows Stiles as a much younger kid holding his dad's hand as his dad tries to hide the fact that he's crying.
Stiles: almost exactly 6 years ago....I was 10 and death was only something you saw in cartoons I...I didn't understand that I would never see her again
Screen cuts back to the memory as Stiles tugs his dad's hand
Stiles: is.....is mommy coming back?
His dad just looks up then hands Stiles a dollar and tells him to go get something out the vending machine. Stiles walks down the hallway and goes up to the vending machine next to the waiting room. He sees a teenage boy...tall...dark hair...handsome yet intimidating consoling a teenage girl as she cries. A nurse sits infront of them
Nurse: I'm sorry but none of them made it out
Stiles looks at them as the teenage boy looks back and stares at him as his eyes go yellow and Stiles drops his candy bar
Stiles: I was face to face with a monster....never would I have imagined that this monster would be the love of my life......little did I know that I was face to face with Derek Hale.

The school bell is heard as Stiles closes his locker and looks down the hall right as Allison Argent and his bestfriend Scott McCall walk in holding hands. The ep shows Scott looking into allison's eyes after they kiss
Scott: You know....*he sighs* After everything that went down after the dance. Im really glad that you accept me for who I am. Its just.....
Allison: You feel like something bad is going to happen?
Scott nods
Scott: Theres just so many unanswered things. What didnt lydia turn? Why the hell is Derek building a pack like hes getting ready to go into world war 3 and what the hell is the kanima
Allison looks confused
Scott: theres been rumors going around...I heard it from Isaac Lahey. Saying that this lizard thing named the kanima attacked them at derek's house but they managed to scare it away and not just that but i found out that my best friend and my former worst enemy are now together
Allison puts her finger over his lips
Allison: You just need to relax.....its our first day back Scott. Lets enjoy it
Allison grabs on to Scott's hand as the two of them see Stiles at his locker and walk up to him. Scott immediately smells something unusual as he frowns
Stiles: oh um hey allison.....hey scott
Stiles felt the tension since he and Scott have grown more distance ever since Scott and Allison have been spending more time together.Scott keeps smiling
Allison: hey scott....whats wrong?
Scott snaps out of it and realizes that if his worst fear of Derek turning Stiles has come true then he can very well be risking Stiles' life by if Allison were to find out
Scott: nothing....nothing at all *he smiles at stiles* Havent seen you in awhile
Stiles sarcastically chuckles
Stiles: That what happens when you fall in love doesnt it?
Jackson and Lydia walk up to them. Jackson looks annoyed to even be anywhere near them as Lydia hugs allison
Lydia: oh my god i missed you guys.
Jackson looks at Stiles and smirks
Jackson: So Stilinski....are the rumors true? Are you really dating Derek Hale? *he laughs*
Stiles: Wow!....I didnt know not becoming a were-
Scott: WHEEEERE....'s your next class babe? *he looks at allison*
Allison: Oh its okay....lydia and are gonna go there now. See you at lunch
Allison walks away with Lydia as Scott looks at Stiles
Scott: why would you even think about saying that out loud?
Stiles: Oh right....I forgot its a secret, she must have had forgotten that Derek's uncle was chewing on her a few months ago
Jackson and Scott just looks at him and rolls their eyes.
Jackson: Lydia is fine and better than she ever has been
Scott: what about you?
Jackson: What do you mean what about me? *glares at scott*
scott: nevermind....i mean some traumatizing stuff went down. Just making sure youre fine
Jackson: Never been better scott.....never been better
He walks away
Stiles: Ughhh i hate him
Scott remembers something and looks back at Stiles
Scott: So when were you going to tell me that you let Derek turn you?
Stiles: i.....maybe if Allison cut the leash a bit you would know whats going on in town. I know it was stupid, but i really do love him Scott. I love him alot and the only way he can be with me is if he knew i was always safe....which meant he had to turn me and well....im his mate now
Scott shakes his head
Scott: Do you realize how stupid of you that was? This isnt a gift its a curse
The hallway is empty as out of nowhere Stiles' eyes turn yellow and he grabs scott by the shirt and slams him powerfully into the locker as he looks at him
Stiles: Do you realize how stupid you are? Been offered everything and more by derek but youre still just a lonely little Omega
He lets go of Scott and walks away down the hall

Lydia is sitting in class as Allison sits next to her. She starts to doze off and eventually starts having a dream, Lydia dreams of the night that Peter Hale attacked her out on the Lacrosse field. Lydia gasps as she wakes up in class and everyone is gone. Suddenly Peter Hale is sitting right behind her as he leans forward and whispers into her ear
Peter: We have unfinished business darling
Lydia screams as she wakes up again in class and everyone looks at her. Lydia stands up and runs out of class as Allison looks concerned
Stiles and Danny are in the lacrosse lockeroom as everyone changes
Danny: So derek hale huh? *he smiles* Now thats a real man. I still remember that day you tried to get him to seduce me haha
Stiles: Yeah back when i hated him haha
Danny: Well you two are cute together....just dont let him change you
Stiles looks nervous and thinks that Danny knows about whats been going on in Beacon HIlls
Stiles: W....what do you mea?
danny: Youre a funny kid.....and well hes kinda too serious. Dont let him change your personality
Stiles breathes a sigh of relief
Stiles: got it dont worry.....illl always be the goofy and clumsy Stiles.
Stiles closes his locker and goes to walk away then falls back as his shirt's sleeve gets caught in the locker. Coach Finstock walks up to them and just shakes his head at Stiles
Coach: And you wonder why they invented the bench? Anywho. Alright.....today's the first day of practice. In just a few days we go against Crescent Peak's Thundercats and we better be in top notch shape for that game and make them realize that Judgement day cant be stopped....it can only be postponed
Danny: thats from Terminator
Everyone looks at the coach weird
Coach: yeah well sue me then! Meet you all out on the field
Scott walks up to the locker next to Stiles as he puts his stuff in it and doesnt say a word to Stiles
Stiles: im sorry scott.....i couldnt control myself. Derek hasnt taugh me yet
Scott: he hasnt taught you yet?! youve got to be kidding me. I mean noone taught me but youre different
Stiles: how am i different?
Scott: i did some research *stiles laughs* When dere-
Jackson walks up and eavesdrop. He then laughs
Jackson: time for practice McCall
Allison and Lydia are in Allison's bedroom studying. Lydia gets up in looks in the mirror as she finishes her makeup. Allison thinks then closes her book
Allison: Today was such a boring first day of school
Lydia: I know but it was great showing off the 9 pounds i lost
Allison: What happened in class today lydia? When you screamed and ran out
Lydia looks in the mirror as her jaw drops. She then rolls her eyes
Lydia: i dont know what youre talking about.....I have to pee
Lydia opens the door as Chris Argent is standing right there
Lydia: oh hi Mr. Argent
Chris: Lydia....havent seen you around in a few days.
Mr Argent gives Lydia a look as if he knows something. Lydia just stands there and smiles
Lydia: I literally lived at the mall during all the back to school shopping
She walks past him and goes into the bathroom. Mr Argent walks over and sits next to Allison on the bed
Chris: She doesnt remember does she?
Allison shakes her head
Chris: good.....and I hope everyone else forgets. Im sticking my neck out for you Allison by protecting Scott and now your best friend. Just remember our agreement
Allison: i know dad....In order for scott to survive i have to stay away from him. And I have been....I promise
Chris smiles
chris: If you hear about anything else....anything else i should know. Come talk to me Allison. Friends come and go but Family lasts forever
He kisses her on the head then walks out as Allison nervously goes back to her books
The lacrosse team continues to practice on the field as Stiles sits on the bench next to the new guy Matt who just takes pictures
Stiles: You know they never put pictures from practice in the yearbook right?
Matt: oh this isnt for the yearbook...its for me
Stiles gives im a weird look. Suddenly Scott lays Jackson out on the field and jackson twists his ankle.
Coach: No again McCall! ummmm....Stilinski youre up!
Jackson limps and sits on the bench looking furious as Stiles looks surprised. He puts on his helmet and gets onto the field.
Scott: no....no.....not now
Coach: Okay gentlemen incase you didnt realize it...Stiles is on the team.
Everyone laughs
Coach: Stiles all i need you to do is to pick up that ball with your stick and try to get it past Danny at the goal.
Stiles nods and runs towards danny and uses his newfound strength to launch the ball between danny's legs. The ball goes so fast it burns right through the net of the goal as everyone looks shocked.
Coach: STILINSKI!!!! Wow....must be something in those wheaties. Alright Teams of 6....GO!
Stiles and Scott meet up in the center as theyre on different teams. They get low and look at each other
Scott: Control yourself Stiles....whatever you do dont shape shift infront of everyone. control
Stiles: Dont be such a sourwolf
His eyes turn yellow as the coach blows the whistle. Stiles grabs the ball with his stick and knocks down countless players by ramming them with his shoulder. Scott is fast behind Stiles. Out of nowhere Stiles spins around and lowers down to the ground as his claws and fangs come out as he growls at scott.
Scott: NOT HERE STILES!! What the hell is wrong with you?!
Coach: hello?! Make the shot Stilinski!
The coach starts walking up to them
Scott: Okay look, im sorry Stiles. Im sorry i ignored you the entire summer and spent all my time with Allison. Im sorry i wasnt there to help you control this. But dont do this here
Stiles goes back to normal and stands up and drops the lacrosse stick
Coach: Alright back to the bench! *his phone rings* WOOO!!! Alright time for my 4 o clock sponge bath

Coach: Practice is over!
He walks away with the rest of the players. Jackson gets up as Matt is next to him. Jackson suddenly gets a nosebleed
Matt: Jackson...you're bleeding
Jackson wipes the blood away and looks at his hands as the blood is black. Jackson panics and runs back into the school. Matt looks on and shakes his head. He then looks and sees Derek Hale, Erica, and Isaac walking onto the field. Matt starts taking pictures
Stiles smiles as he sees Derek approaching. He walks up to his mate and kisses him
Stiles: miss me?
Derek: Been thinking about you all day
Erica: ugh I'm gonna be sick. Well...well..well if it isn't the cute little Omega.
Scott: So I see you two have been making the best out of Derek's little gift
Isaac: watch what you say McCall because it may be your last
Derek: Hey! We need to talk
Scott: about what?
Derek: about what? About the full moon that's coming up, about Stiles, about the Kanima....about everything.
Scott nods
Stiles: why are we talking about me?
Derek: you'll find out tonight. Lets go
Stiles takes off his gear as he walks away with his pack. He looks back at Scott who just has a worried expression on his face
Jackson puts his gear into his trunk. He closes the trunk as Matt is standing there
Jackson: what?
Matt: I'm fine thanks jackson. Anyways, feeling better?
Jackson: I'm fine okay?
Matt: right so....what do you know about these guys
He shows Jackson pictures of Derek and his pack

Episode cuts to Scott taking a shot as his claws are out as he has his hands on the shower wall
Scott: I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you from him Stiles....I'm so sorry I couldn't stop Derek from ruining your life
Derek and Stiles lay on the hood of Derek's car as they look up at the night sky
Stiles: So forever?
Derek: yes....you are my mate. I need you to survive and well you need me....no matter what happens Stiles just remember that I love you. But don't be like Scott...don't try to be the hero. If something bad happens you run got it? You run as fast as you can
Stiles: I...I can't promise that
Derek looks upset then Scott walks up
Erica and Isaac get up from the porch and walk towards him
Erica: welcome to the home you'll never have Scott
She laughs
Scott: oh no I'm gonna cry
He rolls his eyes at her then looks at Derek and Stiles
Scott: so what do we have to talk about?
Derek: we all know a few things. Stiles is now a part of the pack as my mate, someone in this town is now a kanima and someone is controlling it, and the Argents are getting stronger every passing day. When it comes to kanima.....it could be anyone. The kanima is hellbent on vengeance. It hasn't killed anyone yet but just the fact that this thing is loose...well it isn't going to end good. I think you all...especially you Stiles have the right to know this. Stiles and I well we mated
Isaac: a little TMI don't you think Derek?
Derek: and when we did somehow I gave Stiles some of my powers. Dr. Deaton told me that when an alpha has a mate the alpha can temporarily give the mate all his powers.
Stiles: so.......I can be a red eyed killing machine just like you? Wow
Scott: Derek! He can't even control being a beta let alone having your powers!!
Derek: Stiles will learn....
Derek stands on the hood of his car and glares down at Scott
Derek: This is my pack and that is my mate. I know what I'm doing, because I'm the alpha and noone will stop me or my pack
A loud bang is heard as Derek gets shot in the arm and falls off the car and lies beside the car as everyone ducks. A group of about 10 hunters walks up as Chris Argent leads them as they carry flashlights. Scott looks over at Erica and Isaac and tells them to run. Isaac and Erica try to think of what to do.
Derek: stiles....stiles
Stiles: why aren't you healing?!
Derek: its wolfsbane but....it feels much worse than the one Kate shot me with. You need to get them out of here
Stiles: I wont leave you Derek...
Derek sighs and moans in pain
Derek: then you're gonna have to learn the hard way.
He grabs stiles' arm and bites down into his arm as stiles yells. Derek's red eyes turn blue as Stiles' gold.eyes go red
Scott turns around as the hunters get closer and looks shocked
Stiles: we fight....I'm the alpha now
Scott: no!! You're gonna get us all killed!
Stiles roars as he goes into wolf form. Erica and Isaac shapeshift and follow his lead as they run at the hunters head on. The hunters start shooting at them. Stiles kicks Chris argent to the ground then throws two argents into a tree. Erica and Isaac team up as they take the hunters down. Chris Argent crawls away and looks shocked as he sees stiles. He takes out his gun loaded with wolfs bane bullets and points it towards stiles. Out if nowhere Scott runs and knocks the gun out his hand. Argents eyes go wide as he sees Scott
Argent: McCall!!!!!
Scott punches him in the face knocking him out. A hunter hits Isaac on the back of his head with the butt of his rifle. Isaac falls down and.looks up as the hunter stands over him.and points the rifle at Isaac's. Suddenly a long reptilian tale curls around the hunter and pulls him up into the trees as the hunter screams and his body is dropped back down.with huge slash marks on it.
Scott: go! Its the kanima!
They all run as the Kanima drops out the tree and shrieks at them. Stiles picks Derek up as he and Scott take Derek into Derek's car as Scott starts driving away. The Kanima watches the car leaves as it shrieks again. Stiles goes to the back seat and looks at Derek as Derek is breathing heavily
Derek: you did good.....
Stiles half smiles
Stiles: thanks......please tell me you're gonna make it through this
Derek: I don't know
