Boyd sees a pretty, tall blonde standing by herself and decides to introduce himself leaving a happy Stiles and Derek by themselves...
Derek: So I was promised some free cotton candy....shall we find some
The two of them walk to the cotton candy stand and wait in line and watch Boyd strike out with the blonde...but surprisingly walks off with her friend.
