Magna: its not a party....its an opportunity for us all to come together. Everyone was scared of Kai then Jesus and then these crazed people come out of the woods.....yet again my people are intimidated. Magna rubs her head
Magna: so....dont you think when beta and those other whisperers dont come back then Alpha is gonna direct all of her attention to Alexandria

Alex: oceanside is 30 miles to our west....they dont have to worry about any Whisperers

The morning sun is shown shining through the forest near Oceanside. Loud chopping sounds are heard as the men Magna gave derek from Alexandria are chopping down trees and carrying them to the river where once was a gap is starting to become the foundation for a bridge. Several yards from the bridge, right in the woods are dozens of tents. Evan is shown standing in the middle of the small tent city. Evan smiles as he looks around and sees Danny, Riley, Drew, Jack and Klaus all working together as they chop down trees then carry the wood over to the bridge. Suddenly Stiles and Eddie approach him

Evan: we made this much progress in over a day....we just gotta lay down more foundation for the bridge to make sure the vehicles can get across. Hows the perimeter

Danny thinks then smiles and hugs his brother. Jack looks surprised but just smiles and rubs dannys back as they hug.

They all crouch down as the forest ends and infront of them is a huge field. Theres a huge herd of walkers migrating across the field in the distance, theres gotta be well over 500 of them

Stiles: told you...but it looks like theyre heading south. Away from here and away from Alexandria....
Derek nods
Derek: good.....lets hurry up and get this bridge done. First thing tomorrow morning we head into oceanside

A closeup of the giant herd is shown as suddenly the herd stops moving in the direction it was going and instead the walkers start moving in a circle in the center of the field. In the center of the herd a whisperer with his mask on can be seen looking around as ominois music plays, he looks over at another whisperer just feet away. He whispers

Alex is shown slowly opening his eyes as he hears the muffled sounds of someome talkimg mear him. His vision is a bit blurry but he can see Jacob and Peter standing over him as they speak
Peter: isaac did this to him?!
Jacob: what? No....like they were fighting....and Alex somehow triggered his powers...powers like mine. It was too much for him to handle. Wait, you left Jughead alone?
Peter: hes with Archie....relax. what do we do about your psychotic brother?
He looks down and looks surprised to see alex is sitting up and glaring at him

Jacob: alex....how do you feel?
He kneels down and looks at him alex blinks several times

Suddenly the doors to the bar swing open as Stefan marches in

Suddenly Enzo walks out a nearby building and puts his arm around the both of them as they gasp

They turn a corner and see Magna standing on the sidewalk as she watches the fairgrounds in the distance, theres still a ton of people setting things up for it.

Magna: hey guys......can you believe tonight is the night.....the night we bring Alexandria together
Enzo: hopefully it goes off without a hitch
Magna: it will.....i have over a 100 men keeping guard around the wall. The folks from The Kingdom should be getting here at around 8
Ella: im sorry what is the kingdom?
Lydia: right
Enzo: a small band of survivors that stay in a high school in a town about 15 miles from here. Theres only about 30 of them....but every few months we trade with them. The fair lets us trade again
Lydia: theres a whole other community out there and you guys didnt tell us about it?
Magna: theyre not a community.....theyre different. Their leader is a man named Ezekiel and he thinks hes a king. Literally.....theyre good people, we trust them but we keep them at that distance. All their screws arent tightened if you know what i mean
Ella nods
Magna: so wheres the girl?
She looks at enzo and he sighs
Enzo: i let Tracy and Matt crash on my couch last night
Magna: i havent made my decision yet and youre already hosting their fuck sessions, great
Enzo: youre overreacting....as always
Enzo rolls his eyes and walks away as Ella follows. Lydia awkwardly stands there as magna looks at her

They all sprint down the street and towards the wall. Sweet Pea looks around then crouches down and grabs a section of wood from the wall. He growls as he pulls up and the piece of wood slides up revealing a gap in the wall

Sweet pea holds up the piece of wood as Nolan, Aiden, and Gabriel walk out. Sweet pea steps out and lets go of the wood as it swings back in place with a loud bang. Nolan glares at him

Nolan glares at him then looks at aiden jr. Aiden grabs Nolan's shoulder, Gabriel grabs aiden's and Sweet Pea grabs Gabriel's.

They all breathe heavily and look at each other

They hold onto each other as they step away from the wall and walk towards the woods. The guards on the wall look in their direction but dont see anything

Derek and Riley are shown working side by side on the bridge as they both carry a long piece of wood and lay it across the bridge which is pretty much completely done. Riley breathes heavily as he looks at his bloody hands. Derek walks over and holds his hands
Derek: have evan take a look at those

Riley: ill be fine...ill heal.
Riley looks around as everyone is sitting on the bridge and hammering away.
Riley: what do you say you and i be the firsts to step foot into oceanside? Like some moon landing shit?
Derek laughs as riley skips across the bridge. He looks around them steps foot on the road thats on the oceanside side. Derek walks over and steps foot as he sighs
Derek: we did this in one day...
They both look back at the bridge
Riley: so we're actually done?
Derek: eh i say lay down another layer for the vehicles to have support....first thing tomorrow morning we'll make the trek into this new town and see what we can find
Riley smiles as he looks at derek
Riley: thank you Derek
Derek frowns.

Riley: keeping us all together....no matter what

Riley smiles then walks back across the bridge to go join drew. Derek stares at the bridge as ominous music plays.
Jack, Danny, Stiles, and Eddie are shown sitting around by the tents and eating sandwiches as Evan, Klaus and Travis approach them
Klaus: oh come on....break time already
Stiles: screw you, weve been going for like 9 hours straight
Klaus laughs then grabs a sandwich and sits next to Jack.
Travis: any of you guys seen Derek?

Travis walks off as evan watches him then looks at Stiles as he eats his entire sandwich in one bite

Travis is shown walking across the campsite as theres dozens of men from alexandria sitting around and talking, all sweaty and exhausted. Travis reaches the tree line where it meets the giant field. He unzips his pants and sighs as he starts peeing. Travis frowns as he hears a low groaning sound, the low sound then turns high and numerous. Travis looks up and gasps as he can see the herd of walkers stumbling towards him from the field
Travis: WALKERS!!!!!
Derek is hammering away next to Drew and Riley on the bridge when suddenly they hear the screams followed by loud gunshots coming from the campsite. Riley's eyes go wide as he looks at derek
Derek: no.....fuck....get your guns. HURRY!!!
Derek growls as he sprints across the bridge and towards the campsite
Isaac is shown sitting up in bed, covered in sweat as Damon sits next to him and smirks

Suddenly they stop walking as theres a dead horse on the path infront of them. Gabriel frowns as he gets close to it and frowns
Gabriel: its one of the horses from hilltop...they all ran out the day Kai destroyed the community
Aiden jr approaches the horse and frowns
Aiden: those wounds....are from a knife....not from walkers.
Sweet pea: who the hell would just gut open a horse for the hell of it?

They quickly walk through the woods and hop over a creek. They follow Sweet Pea down the creek as they all nervously look around. Suddenly they reach a large clearing next to the creek and Gabriel's eyes go wide as theres dozens of fully grown pot plants
Gabriel: holy shit...
Sweet pea: told you....just clip the whole fuckint stem and put the plants in your bags. Ill peel the bud off of them at home
They all pull out knives as they start cutting the plants and shoving them into their bags. Suddenly a twig is heard snapping and they all gasp and turn around as a walker stumbles out the woods and towards them..
Sweet pea: how do we know thats not one of them?! One of those freaks
Gabriel rolls his eyes then tosses his knife and it goes right into the walker's stomach. The walker doesnt flinch and keeps stumbling towards them

Aiden growls as he sprints at the walker and kicks it in the chest so it falls to the ground. As the walker tries to get back up aiden stands over it and stabs it right in the head.
Sweet pea: alright thats enough bloodshed for the day....lets get the fuck out of here.
They all turn to leave then they gasp as Enzo and Ella are standing in their way, Ella with her arms crossed looking pissed as she glares at Gabriel
Gabriel: uh....uh....hey mom
Ella: Gabriel Damian Salvatore you little shit!!! ALL OF YOU BACK TO ALEXANDRIA....NOWW!!!!
the boys quickly walk through the woods as ella follows them. Enzo looks around the woods with an uneasy feeling then follows the group. Its then revealed that someone was watching them from behind a tree the entire time
The massive herd is shown stumbling through the campsite like a flood. In an instant theres dozens of survivors from alexandria on the ground screaming as theyre being eaten alive. Jack, Klaus, Travis, Stiles, Eddie and Evan stand next to each other as they shoot into the herd. Danny is shown swinging his sword as the walkers surround the entire area
Travis: DEREK!!!!
a loud roar is heard as Derek, Riley and Drew sprint into the campsite. Riley breathes heavily as he sees people on the ground screaming as theyre being torn to pieces. Stiles trips and falls as a Walker gets ontop of him and tries to bite him. Riley growls and sprints across the campsite and kicks it so hard in the head the walker's head flies off
Riley: Stiles!!! Get up!
Riley extends his hand as stiles grabs it. Riley is about to pull stiles up when a walker stumbles up behind Riley
Stiles: RILEY BEHIND YOU!
riley turns around and thats when the walker suddenly pulls out a knife and stabs him in the stomach. Riley gasps as the whisperer looks into his eyes
Whisperer #1: all of this.....belongs to the guardians.....not to yall
He pulls the knife out then suddenly Derek rushes over and the whisperer screams as derek slashes his throat out.
Derek: riley!
Derek holds riley up as riley coughs up blood and moans in pain. Drew runs over in a panic
Drew: Ry?! What happened?!
Derek: get him in one of the cars....the blade has wolfsbane...have Evan burn it out

Derek: EVERYONE FALL BACK!!!
Everyone starts shouting as the herd overwhelms the area. Drew carries riley and rushes back to the road and puts him in the back of an suv as Eddie and stiles hop in the front seat and start up the car
Eddie: where the fuck is everyone else?!
Travis is shown sprinting through the campsite as different walkers lunge at him
Travis: Derek!
Travis runs up to derek as derek is covered in blood and slashing away at walkers
Travis: derek....what do we do?! DEREK!!!!
Derek looks at travis then looks past him and sees Evan shooting into the herd, Klaus and Jack are wavimg at derek and shouting something at him. Danny sprints over and grabs dereks arm

Derek nods then folkows danny and travis through the campsite and up towards the road as everyone is getting in cars. Derek looks back before he gets in the car and sees that the sound of the river is attracting the walkers towards the bridge.
Sweet Pea, Gabriel, Aiden and Nolan are shown sitting in Magna's office as Ella, Enzo, Stefan, and Isaac stand around looking angry
Isaac: so whos idea was it?! Huh?!
Isaac glares at all of them. Sweet pea is about to speak up but nolan cuts him off

Aiden frowns
Isaac: if anything had happened to Aiden out there i would have your head on that desk right now
Stefan rolls his eyes and sits on the desk
Stefan: i dont think threats of beheading are necessary......they wanted to get out, we all do. But unfortunately there is an enemy out there that wants to kill us and they live in those woods. For all we know theyre watching us right now
Gabriel: so what are we supposed to do? Sit here and hide forever?
Enzo looks at everyone then speaks up
Enzo: i truly believe this bridge into oceanside....and that this fair will not only unite us but itll scare them off. We look stronger together....and Magna doesnt know this but when the kingdom gets here im gonna ask them to help
Aiden: help with what?
Enzo: im tired of living in fear....im tired of hiding...im tired of feeling oppressed
He looks at ella and she looks worried but nods
Enzo: after this fair we.....as a community need to consider the option of striking them.
Sweet pea: you mean wiping those fuckers out dont you?
Enzo sighs
Enzo: i mean realizing that theyve become a very grave threat....and we're running out of options
Isaac smirks at Enzo's words
Derek is shown breathing heavily as he sees the herd making its way towards the bridge
Travis: derek! Its over lets go
Suddenly derek grabs travis and kisses him passionately as Travis and everyone else looks shocked

Travis frowns as derek holds his face then he looks at Evan
Derek: if that herd gets into Oceanside.....Alexandria wont have a chance, all that supplies and ammo and food wont be salvageable. We wont ever be able to get in there
Evan: we leave.....we plan....then we come back. Theres always a way

Derek slips away and sprints from everyone as travis shouts. Evan frowns and looks confused as he watches Derek sprint down the road. He runs through the herd as it stumbles towards the bridge. Everything goes in slow motion as Derek makes his way through the walkers. A female walker grabs Derek arm and bites down hard on his shoulder as derek yells out in pain
Travis: DEREK!!!!!
evan holds travis back as he screams out. Stiles, eddie, Jack, Klaus, and Danny all get out the car and watch in horror and sadness as Derek falls infront of the herd. The walkers pounce on him and derek screamd as hes bit on his neck and another bites his leg. Derek growls as he stands, bloodied and bruised but derek starts stumbling across the bridge as the herd follows him. Derek's vision is blurry and his breath becomes wheezing as he starts hallucinating
Derek is shown sitting in Peter's loft in Beacon hills as Cora is laying in bed and he holds her hand as she looks sick. Suddenly Isaac is shown standing in the doorway
Isaac: Scotts mom, Allisons dad and Stiles' father have been taken....that means she has three. Whatre we gonna do derek?
Derek shrugs
Derek: i dont know
Isaac growls
Isaac: Scott, Stiles and allison are about to lose their parents, Cora is dying and Erica and Boyd are dead all the while you were rolling in the sheets with the actual killer!!!!
Derek stands up and growls loudly at isaac but isaac doesnt hesitate

Back on the bridge, Derek is shown pouring blood all over the wooden bridge as the hundreds and hundreds of walkers stumble onto it and follow him.

Derek hallucinates again. Hes sitting on the couch in his house in riverdale. Hes holding a baby Aiden in his arms and hears a familiar voice next to him, derek gasps as Marcel is sitting on the couch next to him with a grin on his face
Marcel: you did good....phenomenal actually. I was killed by a siphoner with teenage angst but you....youre going out a matyr
Derek: i just...i know Magna is lying about how much food and supplies we have left. I know they can find more in Oceanside.....i know they can make it happen.
Marcel: youre having doubts.....youre scared
Derek sniffles as tears slide down his face
Derek: i just want them all to be okay.....
Marcel: i went in peace because i knew they were okay.....i knew they were gonna be in good hands. In your hands.....and now its your turn to go in peace knowing they have people like Evan like Stefan and Enzo, Ella.....people like Ian...like isaac, hell even people like Klaus that will lead them through this darkness. You gave them the greatest gift of all....you gave them a new world and a chance to keep building it.
Derek smiles at marcel then looks down at baby aiden as suddenly the baby disappear from his arms and derek keeps crying

Derek looks as suddenly FP, Reggie, Fangs, Andrew, Scott, The Twins and Chris Argent appear all around him
FP: its gonna be alright son

They all hug derek
Derek is shown reaching the end of the bridge as he turns around and breathes heavily
Travis stands by the cars as he shoots his guns into the air

He whistles to get the attention of the herd but it doesnt work

Derek coughs up blood as he stands at the end of the bridge and the entire herd is on the bridge walking towards him. Derek sighs as he reaches into his pants and pulls out his gun. Derek breathes heavily as a walker lunges at him and he shoots it right in the head
Derek: fuck....
Derek looks past the walkers approaching him and sees a box of dynamite sitting on the floor in the center of the bridge
Travis sprints towards the bridge as Evan follows him
Evan: wait!
Travis turns and looks at him
Travis: you can stand back and watch him die but i refuse to do that.....i made a promise..DEREK!!!!!

Derek closes his eyes as he points at the dynamite
Derek: just survive.....somehow
Suddenly he squeezes the trigger with a bang
Travis screams out dereks name as suddenly a giant explosion erupts on the bridge. Evan grabs travis amd pulls him to the ground as the inferno completely destroys the bridge and the walkers that did survive fall right into the raging river.
Klaus is shown standing by the car as everyone is looking at the inferno that was the bridge. Klaus covers his mouth as his face turns red and tears slide down his face. Stiles hugs eddie as Eddie falls onto the ground and starts sobbing. Riley opens the car door and stumbles out as he holds the wound on his stomach
Drew: riley wait!
Riley: derek.....no.....noooo.....
Riley falls onto the ground and starts sobbing
Travis is shown sitting the pavement looking traumatized as evan sits behind him and is still holding him. Evan's face is red as tears stream down his face. All of them just stare in silence as the burning pieces of bridge continue to fall into the river
Lydia is shown sitting at the bar in alexandria as Jacob approaches her
Jacob: hey lydia....what can i get for you?
Lydia is about to answer then suddenly she frowns and her eyes get wide as she quickly walks out the bar and onto the street as she looks around and sniffles as her eyes fill with tears
Lydia: Derek....?
Aiden Jr is shown sitting at the table at Derek's house as he bites into an apple. Isaac sits infront of him

Isaac sighs
Isaac: i was scared of what couldve happened to you. I couldnt go on living if something happened to you

Aiden nods as isasc stands up and hugs him tightly. Aiden smiles brightly

An aerial view of Alexandria is shown as the sun is starting to set and the citizens of Alexandria can be seen leaving their homes and migrating towards the Fair
A dirt road several miles from Alexandria is shown as 12 horsedrawn carriages are shown traveling on the road. On each of the horses are men and women holding spears and wearing what looks like knight's armor. Suddenly the horses freak out as out of nowhere from both sides walkers emerge out the woods and start attacking the convoy. Several men and women get out the carriages and start stabbing the walkers with spears then suddenly dozens of the walkers pull out knives and start slaughtering the survivors. Alpha and Beta are shown emerging from the woods with their walker masks on. A man stumbles out one of the carriages and points his gun at Alpha but beta pulls out a knife and throws it super fast and it goes right into his head
Alpha: thank you beta
Alpha walks through the convoy as the survivors are getting slaughtered all around. A blonde woman is shown crawling away with a stab wound on her side. Alpha steps on her back as the woman screams
Alpha: whered yall come from?
Woman: w....we're from The Kingdom....we're traveling to a fair at another community
Alpha: ahhhh Alexandria?
The woman frowns but nods
Woman: please....we're peaceful people
Alpha crouches down behind the woman and runs her fingers through the womans hair
Alpha: we aint...
Suddenly alpha pulls out a knife and the woman screams as Alpha starts to scalp her right there on the road. The woman screams in agony and blood pours everywhere as the dozens of other whisperers just stand around and watch as alpha pulls the woman's scalp off. Alpha stands up as she holds the woman's hair and scalp in her hands and smirks
Alpha: beta...
She points to the woman on the ground as the woman is shaking and on the verge of death. Beta walks over and without even hesitation he just stomps on her head, killing her instantly. Alpha looks around at the whisperers
Alpha: hide the bodies......hide your masks....take their clothes....look just like em.....we're going to a fair
The raging river is shown as burnt pieces of wood are washing up on a random shore. Several yards away theres 4 men dressed in white hazmat suits and a black helicopter is behind them on the ground with the propellers still spinning. One of the men looks in the distance as the black smoke from the bridge can be seen but it looks to be dozens and dozens of miles away.
?: what do you think happened?
?: no telling....whole world has gone to shit
Suddenly they hear whistling and run over to the shore as a woman in a hazmat suit is crouched over Derek's burnt up body. She puts her fingers on his neck as Derek suddenly opens his eyes and lets out a shallow breath
?: hes alive
?: do you not see those bites all over the subject's body....
?: we have the anti-virus back at base.
?: thats for top clientele only
The woman looks down at derek as he breathes heavily. She glances at the men in the hazmat suits
?: im sorry but what's my name?
One of the men sighs
?: Tara....Tara St John
Tara: thats right, St John....which automatically makes me in charge.....and this man is top clientele. Dont tell me all the time in that helicopter messed up your vision. This isnt just a man.....
She smiles in amazement as she rubs dereks face then looks at her men
Tara: Its Derek Hale
She stands up as the men bring out a stretcher and put Derek on it as they carry him onto the helicopter
Tara: take him to the armory in Atlanta....hes an Alpha wolf so itll take longer for the infection to set. I want him on a full round of antivirals and antobiotics. This is our greatest find gentlemen, dont let me down
She gets onto the helicopter and sits next to derek as one of the men puts an oxygen mask on his face. Derek opens his eyes and gasps as he tries to speak but the helicopter is too loud as it takes off.
Tara: what? Are you trying to say something?
She removes the mask as she leans down and puts her ear up to his mouth
Derek: A....Aiden.....
Tara sighs as she puts the mask back on his face
Tara: i dont know who that is.....but im Tara St. John. Leader of the Armory.....lets just say we're the last piece of civilization left. We have a cure for this horrible disease and im gonna give it to you....but then youre gonna have to help me
Derek looks at her as
Tara: im looking for my brother.....Lorenzo St John, most call him Enzo. Do you know him?
Ominous music plays as derek gulps and looks out the window of the helicopter as theyre up in the air
