After the fall of the lannisters, Tyrells, and the Boltons and after Rhaegar died and Ian disappeared to rejoin the pack Joffrey emerged and took his place on the Iron Throne that belongs to Ian. Joffrey is just as bad and if not worse than Cersei and has already put scores of people to death simply for disagreeing with him. His only goal is to stay on the iron throne forever and he knows Ian is the rightful heir. Joffrey will do whatever it takes to make sure Ian can never get it back
