Stiles runs past the front desk and into the room. His eyes go wide as he sees Barry flatlining

Derek: everyone freaks out at first. There's a lot of things out there not just werewolves and most of them aren't as nice as us

The nurse follows Stiles and yells after him
Nurse: Sir, you can't go in there! Please!
One of the nurse's that is in Barry's room, helping the doctor who tries to reanimate him, takes him by the shoulders and steers him out of the room
Nurse: I'm sorry son, but you really have to give us the space to help him. We're doing everything we can
As Stiles is outside the room, which has a window to the hallway so you can see what's going on inside, another call comes in on his phone

Eddie tenses up as Derek gets so close to him and his eyes are wide in shock as he feels so overwhelmed
Eddie: Be like you? I'm still not sure what that even means. So I wouldn't be human anymore?

Stiles cries in the hallway and punches a wall. He quickly answers the phone and sniffles

Isaac: Yeah hello, this is Isaac, you know your friend who went to the mall with you so you could buy a few new shirts to impress your new boyfriend and who was left there alone after you took a phone call and just ran out. What's going on?

Stiles leans against the wall and slides down it as he's crying
Stiles: Isaac come to the hospital please. It's Barry...he was struck by lightning and he just flatlined....the doctors are trying to bring him back but I think he's dead Isaac
Stiles hits his head against the wall
Stiles: I love him so much. I already lost my mom....I can't lose him too

Derek: yeah. Peter made dinner so you should join us on but...before we do that I do have one last question. Can I kiss you?

Isaac immediately loses the mocking, reproachful tone
Isaac: I'll be right there
Isaac rushes to the hospital, arriving about ten minutes later. He holds Stiles in his arms and pulls him close

Derek smiles as he nods then walks up to Eddie and pins him against the wall

Isaac: Stiles, you need to try and be strong now, be strong for him. He needs you, he won't make it without you
Isaac makes him sit down on one of the chairs, waiting outside Barry's room on any news.
After about three hours, the first nurse comesout to the two of them with a grave expression on her face
Nurse: We've managed to keep his body functioning for now, but we had to put him into a coma. We can't say what damage has been done yet. You can go in to see him now, but not for too long

He walks with Isaac down the hall then they go into the room. Stiles tears up as he sees Barry with all the machines hooked up to him. Stiles walks up and just lays down next to Barry in the bed and holds onto him

Barry's body is covered in burns. The left side of his face is all burned as well as one arm and there are burns on his chest from the defibrillator as well as from the electrocution
The machine that monitors his heart let's out a steady beep for now as Barry lies there with his eyes closed
Isaac takes a deep breath and holds Stiles's hand as he sits down on a chair next to the bed
Isaac: May...maybe he can hear you. They sometimes say that about people who are in a coma, you know?
