Ian's bedroom is shown as Boone and Ryan sit on the floor next to the bed and play videogames. Ian and Theo just lie on the bed in their boxers as they cuddle
Theo: this is the most rest I've ever gotten

Alex takes a deep breath and runs at his father as they duel again. Suddenly a loud scream is heard coming from downstairs. All of them run out of the room and Danny grabs his sword. They go downstairs and see Lydia looking terrified as James tries to close the sliding door to the loft but someone on the other side is trying to pull it open

James frowns then jumps out the way and suddenly a man with a huge bite on his neck twitches and looks at everyone, he shrieks and runs at Danny. Danny Rams his sword into the Crank's torso. It just snaps its jaw and flails its arms around as everyone looks at it in horror. Danny pulls the sword out then swings it hard and cuts its head right off.
James: we were outside saying goodbye to Jackson and Barry, right after they left he stumbled out of one of the alleys and chased us inside
Lydia: what the hell was that thing?!
Danny; it's called a Crank and you can thank the dread doctors for it
Tyler continues to type away in the computer as Chris rubs his shoulder. Peter lights a cigarette and Tyler rolls his eyes
Tyler: you can't smoke in here

Tyler: wow they even gave us a definition.
Chris: it's pretty much a medical textbook the dread doctors made
Tyler: the Flare, a lab-made virus that slowly eats away at the Brain. It eventually turns victims into insane and blood-thirsty humans that consider cannibalism as an everyday objective. First symptoms are irritability, personality changes, vomiting blood, secretion of black blood from all orifices, and lastly complete rage and a hunger for human flesh. The virus is spread when an infected person known as a Crank bites a non-infected person.
Peter: so it's the rage virus again
Chris: it's the rage virus on steroids
Tyler: there's nothing in here about a cure but here's a map
They all look at the screen
Peter: before the dread doctors were killed they said their plan is still in motion. This is what they meant
Chris: Hawaii was the testing grounds for this
Peter: kitsune's are the healthiest creatures on earth, the dread doctors figured if it can infect them it can infect everyone
Chris: they want this to spread across the entire world
Tyler gulps
Tyler: why?
Peter: because in a world filled with blood-thirsty cannibals, nothing can stop their plans

Tyler: what do we do?
Chris: we prepare for the worst. Tyler, stay here with Peter and collect as many guns and ammo as you can

Suddenly a weird shrieking sound is heard as a crank runs out the woods and leaps at Theo. Boone grabs Theo and pulls Theo onto the ground right as the crank leaps at him but misses
Ian: what the hell is that?!
Derek makes Isaac and Ian get behind him as he looks at the female crank. She looks at them as black blood oozes out her nose. She snaps her jaw then runs at Ryan. Derek quickly picks up a huge rock and slams it against her face knocking her onto her back. Derek puts his foot on her chest as she snaps at him wildly
Boone: what's wrong with her?
Derek: she's crazed
They all get quiet as more shrieks are heard coming from around the woods
Ian: we have to get out of here
Derek nods then raises the huge rock and smashes it down onto her head until she's dead as everyone looks on in shock

They all start running through the dark woods

More explosions go off and cars crash as Evan and stiles make it through the crowd and into the jeep. Evan starts up the jeep then suddenly a crank leaps onto the windshield and its fists through it
Stiles: HOLY SHIT!!!!!
The crank tries to grab at stiles
Evan: CLOSE YOUR EYES!
stiles covers his eyes as Evans eyes glow orange then suddenly Evan grabs the crank by the arm as Evan starts speeding down the street. The crank screams as it catches on fire then Evan slams on the brakes and the crank flies out onto the street Infront of them. Evan and stiles look on in horror as the crank is engulfed in flames but still stands up and stumbles towards them

Surgeon: I'm sorry little wolf but your condition is terminal. The Cure for the flare turned out to be inconsequential.
The other doctors break his chains and start dragging Theo down a hallway as he kicks and screams In an uncontrollable rage. They throw Theo into a room with Several cranks inside of it. They shriek at him and one slams Theo against the wall and sniffs him. The crank stops and let's Theo go as it smells that he's infected. Theo slumps down onto the ground and starts laughing and crying. He closes his eyes and drifts off into sleep
A day passes and Theo opens his eyes as the cranks roam around further in the room. Theo sits up and his black veins are gone

The pathologist grabs the other and snaps it's neck

Surgeon: why would we hurt you little wolf? We need you. You are the success....you are the immunity...you are the cure. And you won't even remember any of it
The geneticist suddenly sticks a needle into theo's neck and he passes out and collapses

Ian shakes him and Theo opens his eyes as he's covered in sweat
Ian: it was just a dream baby....
Theo looks around the room then nods as he lays back down
Theo: but....but it felt so real
Theo looks nervous as Ian wraps his arms around his mate and cuddles up to him
