Esteban and Jackson are sleeping in their bedroom, the camera zooms into Esteban's face who is frowning. Meanwhile Peter is holding a book which contains pictures of him and Esteban's mother and he focuses into one of them where the blonde and beautiful woman is standing and smiling. Suddenly the music begins when the camera zooms into the picture we relive the moment when it was taken.

The beautiful woman sings the lyrics to the camera as people come around her to make her look like the stereotype of the "perfect woman from the 50s" and a man (her husband and Pierre's father) comes to her and they both dance while the lady acts like a doll being manipulated but we can see the love in her eyes, even if the man throws her away.

The landscape changes into a garden where she is walking and notices other women who are gossiping about her like they are judging her for not being good in anything, she lowers her head being ashamed of what she has to live from her husband. Meanwhile, a child version of Pierre is playing with other kids.

The camera is doing a close up to the woman's face who is very sad and fighting the tears. Then, we see man's hands cupping the lady's face and she raises her head to look at a young version of Peter Hale who is smiling at her and taking her hand to lead her body against his.

The new couple is dancing, not caring of what people are watching them and talking about them. They are both lost into each other's eyes. Peter dances gently and acts like he doesn't want to break the girl before he leans into her and gives a chaste kiss. The camera zooms out and we notice the husband's figure watching them.

The husband is violent and beats the woman before pushing her many times. We see Peter trying to hide himself from hunters and who tries to don't howl his sadness for not saving his mate. The woman is crying as her husband is forcing and shouts at her violently.

The camera cuts directly to a close up of the woman's face who, even if she has scars on her face, sings with hope for a better future. When the music stops the camera shows the woman rubbing her growing belly.
The scene cuts back to present days and shows a tear on Peter's face who leaves a chaste and fragile kiss, like he always did, on the woman's picture. As the werewolf closes his book, he transforms into full wolf form before growling out loud with his eyes glowing red.
Esteban wakes up all of sudden, panting and trying to breath, he looks around him and sees Jackson who is sleeping. The human lies in the bed and closes his eyes while the camera moves slowly and shows Esteban's mother's picture on the teenager's nightstand.

Promo of the second half of Season 7
Nick and Esteban are glaring at each other in an abandonned street.
Nick: You act differently, you're not afraid.
Esteban: I'm not anymore, because I know the only way to defeat you and stop it all.
Nick arches a brow: Oh really?
Esteban nods and shows an old book, demonstrating that he's the one who is winning. Meanwhile Nick gasps, he understands that it's all over for him. The witch shrugs as if he doesn't care.
Nick: Well too bad you forgot something...
Esteban tilts his head: Which is...?
Nick smirks and snap his fingers before saying softly: Your life...
Esteban's eyes are wide open as the scene cuts to the cabin where the whole pack is sleeping.

The camera shows many pictures of Esteban being with the pack, during his wedding with Jackson, some dates and happy moments. Slowly, the pictures are disappearing or simply erasing Esteban's presence. Little by little, some objects which used to belong to Esteban are also disapearing to leave an empty space. The whole house is changing itself as if the human never came into the pack's life.

We relive Esteban's wedding, he's walking to the aisle and everybody is looking at him happy. Then the whole scene becomes black parts by parts and people are no longer in the place, leaving Esteban alone wondering what he's doing here.

The camera shows Esteban's FB page emptying itself, statut per statut. Then the screen shows a page where it's writting that the profile doesn't exist.

We relive a scene where Peter is hugging Esteban but when the human tries to catch his father, everything is black again and the boy is looking around him.

Esteban is lost in the black space, he tries to walk but he doesn't where to go first. The camera spins around the boy, showing how lost he is.

This time we got a flashback from when Teddy made a clone of Esteban. It's the final battle and everything becomes fuzzy around the young man, all those lights and sounds are too much for him.

Esteban watches in front of him some things that happened before. When he was fighting with the pack, when Peter died, when Pierre died, when he discovered that Peter is his father, discovering about werewolves, Derek's funerals...

He's still reliving everything from the past but the flashes are more violent, more fast and his eyes are unable to focus on everything. We see some parts of scenes like Jackson saying 'I love you', Danny being back from dead, The Club 21 with Flanigan, the first date he had with Jackson, the draw he made which was Derek's triskelion, the whole pack gathering and cheering, Stiles and Derek's wedding, Jackson showing his tattoo. Everything is being faster and faster.
End of the song.
Esteban gasps, like he had a nightmare and being back in reality. He finds himself in a place which seems to be a club.
???: Hello?! Nina is calling Esteban on earth!
A redhead with short hair is clapping in front of Esteban's face who's wondering what he's doing here.
Nina: Go get the drinks, your customer is waiting for like 10 minutes...
Esteban frowns and looks at what seems a client smiling at him. The waiter takes his tray with the drinks and goes to the man's table.
Esteban: Sorry for the waiting.
???: No prob, I'm patient enough for a drink.
Esteban chuckles then frowns as he looks at the man's face, the camera isn't showing who he is.
Esteban: Do... we know each other? Because you remind me of someone but I can't figure it out...
???: Don't think so, because I'll remember if I see a pretty boy like you.
Esteban blushes and smiles before nodding.
Esteban: Keep the money, it's on the house.
He winks and walks away as the client raises his drink to Esteban. Then the camera slowly turns to show the man's face which is Nick's with a huge smirk on his face and his hand on the book Esteban had at the beginning.
Nick: Merci Esteban.
The camera shows the library's inventory list where is written the book's name due to its absence, then the camera fades out to black.
