Stiles: wow...Derek, I...I know you don't want to hurt me but Im willing to risk everything to be with you. I've never felt this way about someone in my entire life...

"I'm an alpha werewolf and you're Stiles...In what universe does this have a chance? what's going to happen when the Argent's come after me by going through you first? How are you going to heal from a bullet or an arrow? How are you going to protect yourself when you're constantly putting yourself in harm?"
Derek pulls away from Stiles and lays down on the bed.
"My family died because I let my guard down and loved the wrong person. My curse is to walk this earth alone and I shall carry that with me."

Derek's last words nearly breaks his heart into pieces. Stiles sits on the bed
Stiles: I made it this far....I made it this far and haven't been hurt yet. A bullet or an arrow wont compare to the pain ill feel if you force me to deny the feelings I have for you. Derek, please don't push me away. I may be human and a scrawny one at that haha...but I've got brains. And I know how to get myself out of most situations. Just please, nobody will have to know. We can keep this between us because I know you feel the same exact way I do.
He looks at Derek
Stiles: you just don't.care do you?
He looks down as complete sadness comes across his face

"Do you hear the words I say? Are you even listening to me or this all about you? I just told you I wanted to protect you. I just told you my whole family was killed because of my relationship. To hell what other people think about us being together i'm not sure you even realize why i can't be with you."
Derek gets up off the bed, takes his shirt off and goes into the shower. He felt confused, he thought he cared for Stiles but he couldn't understand how Stiles could be so selfish to his feelings

Stiles shakes his head as he looks sad
Stiles: everything I say or do is always wrong
Stiles takes off his shoes and lays down on Derek's bed. He smiles as he grabs Derek's pillow and smells it as he cuddles with the pillow

Derek goes into the shower thinking Stiles has left and exit's the bathroom completely dripping wet and naked...He takes his towel places it over his face to dry it off then sits on the bed unknowingly waking up a sleeping Stiles...
"Stiles...you're still here"

Stiles sits up and blushes as he sees Derek naked
Stiles: umm....yes. Your bed is really comfy...hope you don't mind. Wow nice tat
He smiles then starts rubbing Derek's back. Stiles wonders if he's annoying Derek he looks past Derek's tough exterior and realizes that Derek likes stiles for the annoying, goofy, slightly clumsy kid he is

Derek jerked a little then finally gave in.
"Stiles I know you care for me and hate me and i care for you and hate you all at the same time...you're like a little brother, best friend, and lover all mixed into one but i can't but you at risk. If Scott cared for you as a friend he wouldn't either."
And just like that Derek gave Stiles the most intense passionate kiss before going back into the bathroom to cry

Stiles takes a deep breath and is in.shock from the kiss. He gets up and goes into the bathroom and grabs Derek's arm so they face each other. Styles wraps his arms around Derek and holds him close
Stiles: I get it....you'd rather not be with me than be with me and seeing me get hurt. But Derek, we.need each other to.survive

"This isn't a movie...it's real life and if you get hurt i will have to live with that just as i have had to live with it for over ten years. it's easy for you to want to love and lost than never to have loved at all but i've already loved and lost and i can't live with another death."
Derek wants to let go of Stiles but he feels so normal in his arms...like everything is going to be ok but then he looks at himself in the mirror and realizes he's a monster who's never brought life to anyone.
"I love you Stiles isn't that enough for you? To know that I love you. Why can't you go be with Lydia or some other girl and be normal, be happy. Be able to have sex without getting your ribs broke or throat slashed."
