A 16-year old Isaac is standing at his locker at the end of classes getting everything he needs for his homework. He's still pretty sweaty since he hasn't showered with the rest of the lacrosse team after practice because he doesn't want them to see his cuts and bruises. Evan looks up as the popular guys walk into the lockerroom and then just keeps his head down as he just doesn't want to get noticed by the jocks. His eyes meet Derek's for a moment, but he quickly looks away again

Danny gets out the car and looks more muscular than the last time isaac saw him

Isaac rolls his eyes and hesitates for a moment. He sees guys from his lacrosse team point at him and is reluctant to get into the car, but then the jocks start walking in their direction and he gets into the passenger seat

Evan is confused and surprised as Derek smiles at him, but doesn't get a chance to wonder about this for long because Camden Lahey is at him again. It's hard to imagine that a nasty bully like him could have a quiet and shy little brother like Isaac.
Evan rubs his head and is about to say something when Derek steps in. He can't help but laugh when Camden falls into the laundry bin and then looks over at Derek, totally surprised that he took his defense

They stop at a red light
